I have for many years treated people for migraines. However, I rarely get to treat someone in the middle of a migraine. I saw a young lady this week during an episode. Her pupils were not constricting. After some treatment, I checked her pupils again and they were somewhat better. However, when I felt her neck, it was severely swollen. It felt like she had just been in a car accident. After I decompressed her neck, her symptoms immediately improved. In this situation I suspect that the swelling was physically constricting some blood flow to her cerebellum. Amazing findings!
